We wish! Wouldn’t it be great if you could drop all things work related and spend every day giving your child the kind of holiday that memories are made of? This is a dream that is far from being made reality for most of us, which is why we’ve developed a holiday club that is designed to deliver your child’s dreams, if not your own.
Think back to the good old days of carefree school holidays when you were young – what did they mean to you? Was it really a full summer’s programme of football, followed by tennis, followed by swimming? Or was it time to mooch with friends and let yourself drift along the gentle currents of childhood, mixed in with fun filled activities with siblings and peers and occasional day trips to exciting new locations where memories were made?
At Big Kids we aim to replicate the kind of holidays we used to have with our parents; trips to the beach to go crabbing, maybe planting some veggies in the garden, spending time climbing trees and making dens or preparing treats in the kitchen. The possibilities are endless – the only limit is our imagination!
The children in our care, while being held safe at all times, are encouraged to influence the options they are given for their daily activities and do what they fancy – just as they would with their parents at home.
We find that this is particularly important for the older children, who don’t want to be tied to taking part in a rigid, boring or repetitive schedule or having their days hi-jacked by little ones.
And where the little ones are concerned…it’s fun fun fun till daddy (or mummy) comes to take them away!
Our holiday club runs from 8am till 6pm Monday to Friday. However, as life doesn’t always go to plan, if you have a special requirement or emergency – just give us a call*.

Secondly, staff seem to know each child by name, even if not in their group which I think is really nice. Would recommend the nursery. We have had an excellent service from your team!.
